Position Overview

At Fortis Motion LLC, we are dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child through playful and therapeutic methodologies. We’re currently seeking a passionate Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in El Dorado Hills, California. This full-time position is designed for those who believe that every child's first step is worth celebrating. Here, we strive to empower children through therapy that is not only effective but genuinely enjoyable.

About the Organization

Fortis Motion LLC is a pediatric outpatient therapy clinic committed to providing high-quality, family-centered care. Located in the picturesque El Dorado Hills, our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic tools and offers an inviting atmosphere where children can thrive. We embody a culture of compassion and collaboration, pairing our skills with family engagement to foster optimal developmental outcomes.

Work Environment

Your work environment will be a vibrant onsite clinic housed within a hospital facility, serving children and their families from diverse backgrounds. We maintain a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, prioritizing safety and comfort for all pediatric patients. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a consistent work schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate care for children ranging from birth to adolescence, ensuring that physical therapy sessions align with their individual developmental needs.
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and confidence levels in our young clients.
  • Utilize engaging and innovative play-based approaches to administer therapeutic exercises and activities that promote participation and enjoyment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of each child’s progress, collaborating closely with supervising physical therapists to adapt care plans as necessary.
  • Support families by reinforcing therapeutic goals and at-home exercise regimens, fostering a collaborative effort in enhancing each child’s health and well-being.
  • Contribute actively to a clinic culture that is positive, nurturing, and inclusive, creating a welcoming environment for children of all abilities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on pediatric patients, providing treatment for a wide range of conditions including developmental delays, orthopedic issues, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. By focusing on early intervention, you’ll play a crucial role in helping children achieve critical developmental milestones in a supportive and fun environment.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program, ensuring foundational knowledge and skills are met.
  • Possession of a valid PTA license, or eligibility for licensure, to practice in California.
  • A collaborative mindset, eager to work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals who value communication, creativity, and learning.
  • Characteristic traits should include being patient, energetic, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for making therapy a meaningful experience for children.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in pediatric care is highly valued, but new graduates with clinical rotations in pediatrics are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with play-based therapy techniques or similar methodologies will be an asset in engaging with children more effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your health and well-being.
  • Participation in a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer contributions, helping you save for the future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) policy along with holiday pay to ensure work-life balance is maintained.
  • Financial support for continuing education units (CEUs) and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
  • A workplace culture that emphasizes teamwork, respect, and support from leadership, fostering a positive and engaging professional environment.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Fortis Motion LLC, we believe in investing in our team’s professional development. As part of our staff, you’ll have access to various workshops, training programs, and mentorship from experienced clinicians. Opportunities for advancement within the clinic are plentiful, whether through specialized pediatric certifications or leadership roles, allowing you to grow your career while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children.

Why Join Our Team

If you are a dedicated PTA with a love for working with children, this is more than just a job; it is a chance to be part of a community that changes lives. Here, you’ll receive support, camaraderie, and the chance to work in an inspiring environment where the joy of play and therapy converge.
