Located in the picturesque El Dorado Hills, our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic tools and offers an inviting atmosphere where children can thrive. Your work environment will be a vibrant onsite clinic housed within a hospital facility, serving children and their families from diverse backgrounds. We maintain a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, prioritizing safety and comfort for all pediatric patients. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a consistent work schedule that promotes work-life balance.

• Deliver compassionate care for children ranging from birth to adolescence, ensuring that physical therapy sessions align with their individual developmental needs.
• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and confidence levels in our young clients.
• Utilize engaging and innovative play-based approaches to administer therapeutic exercises and activities that promote participation and enjoyment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of each child’s progress, collaborating closely with supervising physical therapists to adapt care plans as necessary.
• Support families by reinforcing therapeutic goals and at-home exercise regimens, fostering a collaborative effort in enhancing each child’s health and well-being.
• Contribute actively to a clinic culture that is positive, nurturing, and inclusive, creating a welcoming environment for children of all abilities.

This role focuses primarily on pediatric patients, providing treatment for a wide range of conditions including developmental delays, orthopedic issues, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. By focusing on early intervention, you’ll play a crucial role in helping children achieve critical developmental milestones in a supportive and fun environment.

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program, ensuring foundational knowledge and skills are met.
• Possession of a valid PTA license, or eligibility for licensure, to practice in California.
• A collaborative mindset, eager to work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals who value communication, creativity, and learning.
• Characteristic traits should include being patient, energetic, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for making therapy a meaningful experience for children.

• Prior experience in pediatric care is highly valued, but new graduates with clinical rotations in pediatrics are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with play-based therapy techniques or similar methodologies will be an asset in engaging with children more effectively.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience.
