• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop customized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Diagnose and provide effective treatment for a range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, revising care plans as needed based on the client's progress.
• Utilize a collaborative approach by working closely with clients' families, healthcare providers, and community resources to provide comprehensive support.
• Refer clients to external services, treatment programs, support groups, and additional mental health providers to improve overall well-being and address specific challenges.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to create discharge plans that ensure continuity of care and address potential additional service needs.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including those established by federal, state, and local governing bodies as well as clinical guidelines.
• Organize and prioritize daily caseloads, assessing the needs of current, new, and transitioning clients effectively.
• Provide educational resources and supportive counseling to both clients and their caregivers, facilitating stronger support systems.
• Advocate for clients to ensure effective communication and connection with care teams, external agencies, and additional supports.
• Identify patients at risk of delayed treatment or discharge and collaborate with team members to devise effective solutions.

The Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our clients typically present with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and behavioral concerns. You will be responsible for creating a trusting environment that fosters healing and growth, addressing the unique cultural and personal contexts of each client.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution, with verification of education.
• Current and valid state licensure as a LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Psychologist.
• Familiarity with local mental health resources and community services to provide comprehensive support to clients.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and deliver timely and effective treatment.

• Experience in a community health or clinical setting, ideally with a focus on outpatient services.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and methodologies.
• Previous experience with crisis intervention and management.
• Proficiency in using digital health platforms and electronic medical records to enhance service delivery.
