Position Function:
The Event Management & Game Operations Fellow will perform duties related to assisting in all aspects of event management for special events, athletic games, team practices and other programs, meetings and events as assigned. Responsibilities include pre-event facility set up, post-event break down and conversions, unlocking and securing event facilities and monitoring event operation procedures.
Salary Grade: 09

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Game manager and event manager for Track and Field and Men's / Women's Tennis, but could adjust based on candidate experience
• Secondary game manager and event manager for Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Men's / Women's Basketball, Baseball, and Softball, but could adjust based on candidate experience
• Assist with FB game day out-stadium and in-stadium (front of house) supervision, security screening, guest services, concessions and first aid
• Secondary credentials manager and game credential distribution
• Athletic Department Event Calendar Management
• Secondary camp management coordinator
• EMGO Student Supervisor - Recruiting/Training/Scheduling/Payroll
• Assist with AED emergency management - ordering/replacing / record keeping of all athletic venue-positioned AED units, batteries, and pads
• Assist with venue supervision - Humphrey Coliseum / Rula Tennis Pavilion / Newell-Grissom / Palmeiro Center / Sanders Track Complex
• Assistant with Coliseum events and rentals (Humphrey Coliseum)
• Assistant with non-Coliseum event rentals and tours (Rula Tennis Pavilion / Newell-Grissom / Palmeiro Center / Sanders Track Complex)
• Assistant with internal events and setups
• Assistant with external events and concerts
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in related field
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to work long and irregular hours including weekends.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
• Regularly involves lifting, bending or other physical exertion. Often exposed to one or more elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc.
• Job frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping / kneeling/ crouching/ crawling, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands.
• Job occasionally requires climbing or balancing and lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
