The Job Details:
• Provide leadership to the efficient coordination and execution of workflow throughout the warehouse, consistently keeping safety, sanitation, cost controls, productivity, accuracy, team environment, and customer satisfaction in line with facility goals.
• Serve as a visible leader within the Cold Crew, fostering positive relationships with staff and upholding company culture.
• Assist with inventory control functions and procedures, including cycle counts, product rotation and recall, training, customer claims and requests, and record keeping.
• Participate in the hiring process of new warehouse employees.
• Advise and participate in employment-related decisions including but not limited to hiring, promoting, and/or terminations.
• Provide hands-on leadership to the ongoing development of the assigned personnel and teams.
• Determine if overtime is necessary and seek additional approval from management as needed.
• Act as the escalation point for various matters, resolving issues as needed.
• Supervise, manage, and respond to incidents, injuries, and near-misses by conducting follow-up investigations and logging reports into the safety tracking system.
• Develop good working relationships at all levels within the USCS team environment, leading and communicating as needed to maximize individual and team performance.
• Approve timecards, assist with scheduling, and managing time-off requests.
• Act on the Automation Superintendent/Superintendent's behalf when necessary.
• Work with Management and Customer Service personnel to ensure that all requirements and requests are responded to in the highest professional manner.
• Monitor Warehouse Control System (WCS) interface for potential faults created in automation and follow SOP's to clear machine faults in a timely and efficient manner. May need to physically move product to resolve machine faults.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Warehouse Control System (WCS) to troubleshoot errors related to the automated warehouse.
• Escalates errors and system outages acting as key liaison between operations, automation provider and USCS specialist to help resolve.
• Follow automated processes to support successful execution of warehousing processes.
• Seek out areas of Automated Process Improvements and Implement Corrective Actions.

• Experience: 2-3 years as a team lead or supervisor
