Position Summary

Work Location: In person
Shift: 1st Shift: 8am-5pm

Responsible for crucial first-line communication with our customers. Communicates with customers concerning both inbound orders and outbound shipments in their direction. This communication may involve gathering general data, details for a variety of customer inquiries, and listening to customer feedback, which often requires further communication with facility management. These interactions often require data entry, documentation, and document filing.

Primary Tasks amp; Responsibilities:

· Comply with the facility food safety and food defense requirements as outlined in the current BRCGS standard.

· Scheduling of inbound and outbound appointments.

· Processing of inbound and outbound appointments.

· Manage available inventory for orders. (Product locations and product status)

· USDA Import and Export documentation.

· Verify inbound and outbound paperwork for accuracy and billable charges.

· Carrier and broker interaction.

· Filing and record retention.

· Customer communication via email and telephone.

· Warehouse and inventory support.

· Handling confidential information with discretion.

· Ability to identify and resolve administrative issues, minimizing business disruptions.

Knowledge amp; Skill Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
