What does a Cold Header Machine Operator do?

A Cold Header Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines that form metal parts, such as bolts, screws, and rivets, by using a process called cold heading. This process shapes metal at room temperature by forcing it into dies, resulting in strong and precisely shaped components. Operators ensure that machines run efficiently, monitor production quality, and may perform minor repairs or adjustments.
