Job description

Cold Forming Operator
Responsibilities:
* Set up and operated automatic cold former machines using setup sheets, tooling charts, blueprints, and machine manuals to manufacture parts to print while utilizing upsetting, extrusion, and piercing processes
* Troubleshot machine, tooling, and production issues by diagnosing malfunctions, replacing worn components, adjusting machine settings, and monitoring process controls to maximize uptime and productivity
* Inspected and verified part quality using precision measuring equipment, SPC charts, control plans, and two-pan inspection procedures while maintaining product traceability and controlling non-conforming material
* Performed preventative maintenance, completed production and quality documentation, maintained organized work areas, followed safety procedures, and collaborated with team members to support continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience:
* Must have mechanical ability
* Knowledge of micrometers, calipers, gauges, hand tools and related tools
* Must be able to work on Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 12am
* Ability to read and understand blueprints
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Previous experience operating cold forming machine
