1st Shift (Monday thru Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM)
2nd Shift (Monday thru Friday 3:00 PM-11:30 PM)
POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
This role will be responsible for loading, unloading, stacking, sorting and segregating, and case picking product. This role may operate a pallet jack to accomplish some of the tasks above.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND BASIC DUTIES
  • Following proper handling procedure for products within the facility
  • Working with accuracy and attention to detail on product orders
  • Maintaining and working in a safe manner, in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards
  • Palletizing goods and materials to put on trucks for transportation
  • Successfully completing assigned tasks through coordination and teamwork with fellow warehouse employees and leaders
  • Performing other duties as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school graduate or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be capable of learning and retaining the skills needed to work in a safe, productive manner
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Must possess and have a solid work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends occasionally as required
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and change direction mid-stream
JOB LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS
Warehouse Operator I:
  • 0-2 years of warehouse experience. Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required.
  • Stand Up Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Counterbalance Forklift experience preferred but not required.
Warehouse Operator II:
  • 3-4 years of warehouse experience. Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required.
  • Stand Up Forklift experience required.
  • Experience using other MHE equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I level as needed for coverage.
Warehouse Operator III:
  • 5 years or more years of warehouse experience. Cold storage warehouse preferred but not required.
  • Reach truck experience required.
  • Must possess the skills to cross train Warehouse Operator I and II employees as necessary to fulfill customer demands and maintain warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Must be able to work at a Warehouse Operator I or II as needed for coverage.
  • Must be comfortable working at multiple height levels within a warehouse environment.
