Job description

Matrix Repossession Seasoned Investigator
Matrix Recovery Service is seeking an Investigator to manage the skip tracing and implementation processes for aged, cold-case bank repossession files. This individual will also engage with external contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of investigation activities and proactively facilitate the communication to the client with information, obstacles, or recommendations. Throughout the execution of these responsibilities, they will set and uphold rigorous standards for conducting investigations and preparing related reports.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages the investigation functions and practices to ensure adherence to local, federal, and state statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements (FDCPA, CFPB).
  • Manages specific files provided to them and develops necessary investigation process to ensure implementation of timely, thorough updates on the process.
  • Develops an investigation strategy and approach to ensure investigations are completed in accordance with established rubrics, timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborates extensively with client, partners, contractors, and stakeholders
Important employment details:
  • This role is 100% remote.
  • Work for this role is expected to be full-time (approximately 40 hours per week).
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a skip tracer/investigator.
  • Knowledge of methods to locate people and property.
  • Understanding of the repossession/transportation/remarketing industries is a plus.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep skillset within Microsoft Office Suite, computer programs, applications, and databases.
Preferred
  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred.
Hours of Operation
  • Full-time, Remote
  • Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM
