WE LOVE OUR WORK.
  • Counts and verifies all VLT drop boxes, VLT Machine Bill Validator, Food and Beverage drop.
  • Prepares appropriate paperwork and makes necessary computer entries.
  • Responsible for collecting VLT drop and bill validator drop.
  • Performs VLT weighing and coin wrapping process.
  • Transports wrapped and counted coin to vault.
  • Prepares booth and main bank buys.
  • Tests all scales at booth and in the hard count room daily.
  • Collects VLT cash boxes from the gaming floor and the subsequent cash and ticket count conducted in the count room in order to assist in reaching profitability and compliance goals
  • Removes cash boxes from slot machine and replace with empty cash box using procedures that are within Internal Controls and Ohio State Gaming Regulations
  • Transports all collected cash boxes to the Count Room following predetermined route
  • Ensures key control procedures are followed
  • Operates automated currency equipment to count and process tickets/currency removed from the cash boxes
  • Prepares Cash Storage Box Report with supporting documentation obtained from the counting of the cash boxes
  • Packages currency and tickets/currency into predetermined amounts for later use or deposit
  • Transports the verified tickets/currency to the Main Bank and ticket storage area within Internal Controls and Ohio State Gaming Regulations
  • Completes daily maintenance of all count room equipment and cleaning of the count room
  • Works professionally with other departments as needed to complete tasks

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of America money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

Must possess a valid driver's license and have acceptable driving history as determined by Penn National Gaming's auto insurance carrier.
