Job Summary:
The Turret Guard monitors activity on the premises and protects the personnel, property and shipments for which the company is responsible. This position functions in an armed environment. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Maintain the safety, security, and control of the building at all times
โ€ข Control access to the building; verify identification and entrance authorization
โ€ข Monitor CCTV system for anything suspicious near the building
โ€ข Alert management of anything suspicious and notify emergency services, if necessary
โ€ข Maintain radio communication with truck crews throughout the day
โ€ข Scan personnel with metal detectors
โ€ข Complete daily reports
โ€ข Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
โ€ข Minimum of 1 year of experience as an armed guard or military experience or protective services experience
โ€ข Minimum of 21 years of age
โ€ข A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
โ€ข A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
โ€ข Able to lift at least 5 pounds
