About Us
North Andover Behavioral Health is a growing multidisciplinary outpatient mental health practice providing psychiatric services, psychotherapy, and psychological assessment across the lifespan. We are seeking a highly motivated graduate student or pre-licensed psychology trainee interested in developing specialized competency in psychological assessment. This a W2- Per Diem position that offers hands-on training in comprehensive diagnostic evaluations under the supervision of a licensed psychologist while working within a collaborative team of psychiatric providers and therapists.
Position Summary
The Psychological Assessment Trainee will assist in the administration, scoring, interpretation, and report writing of psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. This position is ideal for a graduate student in a Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or School Psychology program seeking advanced assessment experience.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical intake interviews and gather collateral information
  • Administer psychological and psychoeducational assessment instruments under supervision
  • Score and organize testing data
  • Assist with diagnostic formulation and case conceptualization
  • Draft integrated psychological evaluation reports
  • Participate in feedback sessions with patients and families
  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers, therapists, schools, and other treatment team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Attend individual and group supervision

Qualifications
Required
  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master's, PsyD, or PhD program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or School Psychology
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in psychological assessment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred
  • Previous testing or assessment experience
  • Experience writing integrated reports
  • Familiarity with DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in outpatient settings
Compensation
  • Per-assessment % compensation
Compensation will be determined based on level of training, experience and supervision requirements.
