POSITION SUMMARY
We seek a compassionate Licensed Nail Technician to provide high-quality care and services to the residents of our community. We provide a space that has a nail technician station and hair stylist station. The rent is $500 a month that is split between the two. We are running a rent special for new recruits, just ask! The salon is newly remodeled and has all the basic equipment to operate immediately. Please come tour the salon if interested! This individual will play a vital role in enhancing residents' self-esteem, dignity, and overall well-being through personal care services in a warm and respectful environment. You are welcome to build outside clientele as long as you prioritize our residents first. You must be open 5 days a week, 8 hours a day with a minimum of 2 walk in days and one day with walk-in hours so we can better serve our residents. If you're outgoing, reliable, and passionate about putting smiles on the faces of those you serve, this job is for you! New grads and candidates with minimum experience are welcome to apply!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide manicures, pedicures, nail trims, regular polish, gel polish, acrylics, dips with removal services and others as requested.
  • Create a welcoming, relaxing salon experience tailored to the needs and preferences of older adults.
  • Maintain the salon's cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in compliance with state cosmetology board requirements and infection control protocols.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, family members, and team members.
  • Maintain appointment schedules and manage salon supplies and inventory.
  • Communicate any resident concerns or changes in condition to appropriate staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all community policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Certificates:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a Licensed technician per state requirements.

Experience, Competencies, and Skills:
  • At least 6 months of experience as a nail technician is preferred.
  • Able to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
  • Maintaining composure in stressful situations and treating our residents with respect and dignity.
  • Customer service mindset, patience, and compassion.
