Overview
Bouchée Patisserie Manager
The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Bouchée Patisserie Manager to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The Bouchée Patisserie Manager will be responsible for managing the team and the guest experience of Bouchée Patisserie.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the Patisserie
  • Understands hourly positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence or during peak volume periods
  • Oversees departmental scheduling and regularly reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example
  • Identifies the developmental needs of others and coaches, mentors, or otherwise helps others to improve their knowledge or skills
  • Ensures compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands on management
  • Handles guest problems and complaints

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a store manager or an assistant store manager in a coffee or bakery operation, preferably in a luxury setting
  • Possess a strong knowledge of coffee, tea, and retail/counter-service operations and continually trains team to stay relevant.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
  • Physical demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and prolonged extended periods of standing
