Position Overview

The Coffee & Café Team Member is responsible for creating an outstanding guest experience by preparing quality food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized restaurant, and working collaboratively with fellow team members.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, working efficiently, and taking pride in delivering exceptional service.


What You'll Do

Guest Service

  • Welcome every guest with a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Deliver prompt, courteous service during every visit.
  • Address customer questions or concerns professionally and efficiently.

Food & Beverage Preparation

  • Prepare coffee, specialty beverages, sandwiches, and other menu items according to Honey Dew standards.
  • Ensure all products are prepared accurately and consistently.
  • Follow established recipes and presentation guidelines.

Daily Restaurant Operations

  • Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions accurately.
  • Maintain stocked workstations and replenish products throughout the shift.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and routine cleaning duties.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting restaurant environment.

Food Safety & Teamwork

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Support marketing promotions and restaurant initiatives.
  • Work cooperatively with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Accept coaching positively and continuously improve job performance.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Basic math skills, including accurately handling cash and making change.
