POSITION SUMMARY
The Cashier is responsible for creating a welcoming, informative, and positive experience for every guest while accurately processing sales and collecting payments through a computerized ticketing system. This role requires outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle a variety of transactions. Perform cashiering duties at multiple resort locations, including the Ticket Office/Ski School, Rosebuds at the Main Lodge, Winters Creek Lodge, and Wildslide Tubing.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong mathematical and cash-handling abilities.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Must have knowledge of and ability to use computer systems.
  • Excellent English communication skills required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Welcomes guests and clearly communicates resort information, special events and the multiple product options available. Provide excellent and efficient guest service
  • Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion
  • Accurately inputs the correct products into the cash register to ensure all purchases are accurately recorded. With minimal to no errors.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling cash and financial transactions.
  • Completes revenue transactions with resort guests, collects funds, makes accurate change, and financially balances their cash drawers at the end of each working day.
  • Must be willing to cashier in ALL locations and help where specified
  • Shoveling in front of the front ticket windows, keeping the outside ledge clear, also set up and tear down the stanchions.
  • Line control, emptying trash cans, wiping down the stations, picking up around all stations in all locations each day
  • Turning on and off the TVs in Rosebuds and Ski School
  • Knowledge of each menu items, prices, and applicable discounts
  • Stock F&B products in dry storage and beverage cooler
  • Cleaning and restocking the condiments counter throughout shift
  • Re-stock and clean hot coco and coffee machines throughout shift
  • Changing soda bibs, Co2 canisters

  • Bus and wipe tables, empty trash and recycle bins, assist with trash and recycle waste nightly transfer, assist with the cleaning of the cafeteria and food seating areas

MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and cooperate with other departments as necessary in the completion of the above essential duties.
  • Be willing to move locations quickly.
  • Provide information and answer questions about the resort-to-resort guests.
  • Any other duties that may contribute to the cleanliness, orderliness and overall efficiency of the entire operation and all the tasks contained therein.
