Nature & Purpose of Position
  • Provide support to staff in the Office of Assessment and Accountability in the College of Education (COE).
  • Support daily management of correspondence (e.g., email, phone calls) and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Enter information into technological platforms and assist students, faculty, and staff with operations.
  • Assist Associate Dean, Director, and staff with collecting and analyzing/maintaining data and creating and distributing reports/presentations.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating meetings and events.
  • Assist with gathering and submitting travel documents.
  • Answer multi-line phones and transfer and direct phone calls. Maintain office supply inventory, prepare documents, and assist with various office projects.

Other Requirements for the Position
Qualifications include ability to work in a team environment, outstanding technology skills, excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and effective communication skills. Must understand and agree to maintain confidentiality of all student information, including academic records, personal details, and disciplinary records, accessed during employment and will not disclose such information to any unauthorized person, either verbally, in writing, or electronically, except as required by law or with explicit written permission from the appropriate authority.
