Job description

The coding supervisor is responsible for the direction, training and coordination of the coding staff. To ensure complete, accurate and timely assignment of diagnostic and procedure codes for inpatient and outpatient medical records. Coordinate monthly coding meetings to ensure ongoing education of the coding staff.

Qualifications:
Must possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Technology or Health Information Administration. Must possess and maintain national certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). 3-5 years of coding experience required, supervisory experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of APCs, ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT and HCPCS required.

Hybrid Eligible after training. 

Salary – $63,000 – $66,000 per year
