Job Description
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Configure BillingCenter: Customize payment schedules, delinquency plans, invoicing, and disbursement workflows to match client business requirements.
  • Gosu & Studio Coding: Write clean, maintainable business rules, enhancement scripts, validation logic, and plugins using Gosu and Guidewire Studio.
  • UI Customization: Modify and design user interface screens using PCF (PolicyCenter Files) configurations and widgets.
  • Data Model Extensions: Update and extend the BillingCenter data model by creating custom entities, typelists, and fields.
  • Collaboration: Work with business analysts, quality assurance teams, and architects in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
  • Code Reviews & Testing: Perform unit testing, resolve defects, and participate in peer code reviews to ensure platform performance.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter configuration, Gosu programming, and Guidewire Studio.
  • Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL queries mapped to the Guidewire schema.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector, specifically understanding billing lifecycle operations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and clear verbal communication for cross-site team collaboration.
  • Experience working with Guidewire Cloud platform standards and batch processes.
  • Active Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration Certification.
