Overview:
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Production Support Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite - Discrete Manufacturing. The role focuses on production support, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and fixing data/code issues in both Oracle EBS and custom-integrated solutions. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring system stability, resolving critical incidents, and supporting business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Production Support & Incident Management
  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle EBS Discrete Manufacturing and integrated custom applications.
  • Triage incoming production tickets, analyze issues, and deliver timely solutions.
  • Attend, manage, and lead Major Incident calls, ensuring rapid restoration of services.
โ€ข Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for problem tickets in Oracle EBS and custom solutions.
  • Identify systemic issues, recommend preventive measures, and document corrective actions.
โ€ข Data Fixes & Code Fixes
  • Develop and execute data fixes (using SQL/PLSQL) for production issues following change management processes.
  • Implement and deploy code fixes for Oracle EBS customizations, reports, interfaces, and extensions.
  • Ensure fixes are tested, documented, and deployed with minimal business disruption.
โ€ข Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to resolve issues effectively.
  • Provide clear communication on issue status, resolution timelines, and post-incident findings.
  • Maintain proper documentation for incidents, fixes, and RCA reports.
