Job description

RQ11125 - Sr. DevOPS/Cloud Engineer

10-month contract (202 business days) - possible extension

ONSITE 5 days - 222 Jarvis St

Security Level: CRJMC

MUST HAVES:

  • Design , deploy, and maintain hybrid infrastructure environments across public cloud platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Linux solutions, Software as a Service (SaaS), Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solutions and on‑premises systems
  • Manage and support identity and access controls using Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, etc.
  • Familiar with setting up and maintaining development environments using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, and Maven
  • Ability to design, build, and administer CI/CD pipelines for continuous development and deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess frameworks, platform, or tech stack to assist in creating cloud-based solutions
  • Design, build and support cloud environments to create digital
  • Design, build, develop and administer CI/CD pipeline to support continuous development and deployment of modular cloud-based systems
  • Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues

General Skills:

  • Experience in mobile device management for various versions of cellular and tablets
  • Experience in one of the leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or Google Cloud,
  • Experience in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments, like CentOS, Ubuntu, or CoreOS, to support modern web technologies: LAMP, MEAN, Drupal and Elasticsearch
  • Experience setting up development environments and mechanism using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Maven and Jenkins or similar tools
  • Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node,
