Job description

Network Engineer (Network Access Control (Forescout) )

Location: Mclean, VA/Richmond, VA and Plano, TX

Hybrid Location

Responsibilities

โ— Deploy, configure, and maintain Forescout CounterACT in enterprise environments

โ— Develop NAC policies to control device access based on compliance and posture

โ— Integrate Forescout with other security tools (SIEMs, firewalls, Active Directory, etc)

Preferred Skills

โ— Comprehensive understanding of NAC technology, demonstrate solid technical knowledge of security products in an enterprise environment

โ— Previous experience as a NAC engineer; designing, building and supporting enterprise computing platforms and systems

โ— Demonstrate proficient knowledge of L2 and L3 networks

โ— Solid understanding of Cloud / Virtual Compute platforms and their supporting infrastructure

โ— Solid understanding of High Availability strategies

โ— Familiarity with the concepts of infrastructure as code, test driven development and automated deployment of infrastructure solutions

โ— Scripting and\or automation skills in various languages (such as Python, Ruby, BASH, Powershell, etc.)

โ— Good communicator who is willing to share and teach amongst peers

โ— Willingness to update and contribute to living engineering documentation

โ— Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

โ— Hands on experience with Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass

โ— Hands on experience with Forescout technologies

โ— Ability to work on high level projects and low level network changes.

โ— Good to have: knowledge on IDS/IPS, Fabric technologies, zero trust, general network concepts and routing protocols

โ— Good to have certifications: AWS, CCNA, CCNP, CNSA, CSAE, CISSP
