Job description

The Oaks at Liberty Grove Assisted Living in Rowlett, Texas is searching for a Maintenance Director to be part of a great team focused on improving our Residents quality of life. Your knowledge and expertise will directly contribute to creating a safe environment for our Residents and staff in our community. You will maintain and transform Resident units and public areas as well as encourage a sense of belonging among staff and residents alike.

As the Maintenance Director, your day-to-day responsibilities include

  • Overseeing all aspects of community maintenance and upkeep
  • Scheduling and performing preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with life safety codes
  • Completing regular inspections of Resident units and public areas to prevent and resolve any maintenance issues promptly, and
  • Collaborating with the community leadership team

You will coordinate with contractors for larger projects and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses. You will communicate effectively with other departments to address concerns and improve Resident happiness. Ultimately you will prioritize the needs of the community to ensure a safe and pleasant living environment for all.
