Job description

Are you an experienced healthcare professional who enjoys coordinating patient care and keeping the details organized? We’re partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Seattle seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support patients, providers, and clinical teams throughout the care process. This role is ideal for someone with strong healthcare administrative experience who can manage multiple priorities while providing excellent patient support.


What You’ll Be Doing…
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, families, providers, referring physicians, and outside organizations regarding clinic services and care coordination
  • Coordinate pre-admission testing, pre-surgery appointments, procedures, and other services as directed by providers or nursing staff
  • Assist with scheduling surgeries, procedures, appointments, and services needed to support patient care
  • Ensure complete and accurate medical records are available for patient visits, admissions, and procedures
  • Coordinate referrals and facilitate documentation between patients, providers, payers, and other healthcare teams
  • Work with financial services to ensure required insurance and financial information is complete before appointments, procedures, or admissions
  • Communicate with healthcare team members regarding care coordination activities while maintaining patient confidentiality and supporting an efficient clinic environment

What Your Work History Needs to Show as Evidence That You’re the Right Candidate…
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical/healthcare setting OR 2 years of customer service experience
  • Experience providing high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment while handling confidential information
  • Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Working knowledge of insurance authorization processes; familiarity with medical terminology and CPT/ICD-10 coding desired
  • Strong communication, organization, planning, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities

Location: Seattle, WA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Pay rate: $24.-$26 per hour

Contract Length: Through mid-December
