Why Choose Project Hope Foundation?

  • Clinic-Based Therapy with a Built-In Support System
  • Focus on clients, not commuting: Spend your time at one of our eight upstate clinics, minimizing travel between locations.
  • Collaborative environment: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of therapists and behavior analysts to share insights and best practices.
  • Crisis management support: Every clinic has a site-specific supervisor on call, ensuring you always have the necessary resources

Organizational Support for Your Success

We take care of the administrative and operational tasks so you can focus on therapy:

  • Dedicated scheduling team to manage appointments for you and your clients.
  • Experienced billing specialists who ensure all requirements are met.
  • Comprehensive support from HR, IT, and operations staff for everything from credentialing to technology assistance.

A Healthy Work-Life Balance

Professional Growth and Development

  • Leadership training to refine your skills in managing teams and delivering effective feedback.
  • Access to conferences, CEU support (up to $1,000 annually), and training in advanced assessment protocols.
  • Opportunities to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including BCBAs, RBTs, and classroom teachers.

What Makes This Role Unique?

  • Unlike many positions, OT's at Project Hope Foundation are full-time employees, not contracted workers.

This ensures:

  • Opportunities to engage fully in our supportive culture.
  • Career advancement within the organization.
  • Access to a benefits package valued at $9,500โ€“$10,250 annually in indirect compensation.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Provide Direct Therapy Services

  • Implement individualized treatment plans targeting daily living, functional, pre-vocational, and motor skills
  • Promote independence by selecting and adapting therapeutic activities to meet each childโ€™s needs
Support Clinical Excellence
  • Implement treatment plans based on OT evaluations
  • Collect and document client data, progress notes, and goal tracking
  • Communicate regularly with supervising OT to meet state supervision requirements
Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team
  • Work closely with BCBAs, RBTs, teachers, and families to ensure carryover of skills
  • Participate in team meetings to support coordinated care
  • Adhere to behavior intervention plans during therapy sessions
Professional Development
  • Provide guidance and informal training to ABA staff on occupational therapy principles
  • Maintain required licensure and certifications
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education

What Weโ€™re Looking For

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong commitment to helping children with complex communication needs.

  • Enthusiasm for contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation with yearly increases.
  • Paid-Time Off (FTO): Generous FTO, including 10 holidays
  • Parental Leave: Support when you need it most.
  • Comprehensive insurance options: Medical, dental, and vision.
  • Financial perks: Matching 401(k) and tax-deductible benefits.
  • Professional growth: Up to $1,000 annually for CEUs and continuous opportunities for development.
  • Work-Life Harmony: Flexible schedules tailored to your needs; No late evenings or weekend sessions.

At Project Hope Foundation, we are committed to:
