Job description

Concrete Foreman

Maple Reinders is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field crews and oversee dayโ€‘toโ€‘day concrete operations for projects in Bradford, Wasaga Beach and surrounding areas. This role is responsible for safe, efficient, and highโ€‘quality execution of concrete work while meeting project schedules, productivity targets, and safety standards. The Foreman is handsโ€‘on, leads by example, and is accountable for both individual and crew performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead concrete crews in daily field operations
  • Plan and coordinate formwork, concrete placement, and work sequencing
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and to quality standards
  • Enforce company safety policies and participate in daily safety meetings
  • Monitor productivity, labour usage, and workmanship
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trades
  • Complete accurate timesheets and ensure proper cost coding
  • Oversee proper use of tools, equipment, and materials

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of concrete construction experience
  • Previous Lead Hand or Foreman experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of concrete forming, placement, and finishing
  • Ability to perform layout, verify elevations, and maintain tolerances
  • Heavy civil or infrastructure experience is an asset

Working Conditions

  • Fieldโ€‘based role in active construction environments
  • Physically demanding work in varying weather conditions
  • Travel may be required depending on project location
