Position Overview

CODI is seeking dedicated On-Call Residential Counselors to provide direct care services to individuals residing in our group homes throughout Atlantic County, NJ. This role involves supporting individuals with mental illness in developing independent living skills, engaging in social and recreational activities, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Availability On-Call Shifts: Varies

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training and support to individuals in the development of independent living skills.
  • Actively engage consumers in social and recreational activities to promote community involvement and well-being.
  • Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation to encourage balanced nutrition.
  • Provide transportation services to support individuals in attending appointments, community activities, and other engagements.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Possession of a valid, non-provisional New Jersey Driver's License with no more than five (5) points.
