Volt is immediately hiring for Medical Coder II in DUARTE, CA

As a Medical Coder II you will:

  • Compiles and keeps medical records of patients of health care delivery system to document patient condition and treatment.
  • Checks medical records for completeness and to abstract and code clinical data, such as diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies, using standard classification systems.
  • 3-5 years of experience

This is a full-time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Surgical coder - multispecialty, oncology preferred
  • 5+ years experience in multispecialty
  • CPC certification
  • Only codes major surgeries so they are very complex

Schedule: 1st shift

Pay Rate Range: $28 to $30 per hour
