Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (3 days in office/2 remote)
12 month W2 contract

Role Overview
We are seeking an Automation Tester with Playwright experience to support Commercial Banking Collateral Management and Collateral Perfection programs. This role is responsible for validating critical business data, supporting data quality initiatives, and developing automated test solutions using Playwright to improve testing efficiency, data integrity, and operational controls. The analyst will partner with Product Management, Operations, Technology, and Data Management teams to automate business process validation, data quality controls, and end-to-end workflow testing across collateral management platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Playwright-based automated test scripts for business processes and data validation.
  • Build out test cases for the UI and validation process.
  • Perform validation to ensure different systems can perform data transformation tasks.
  • Convert manual validation and UAT activities into automated testing solutions.
  • Execute regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for application releases.
  • Maintain automation assets and code repositories in GitHub.
  • Validate collateral, lien position, UCC, and related data across multiple systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis of data defects and process exceptions.
  • Support data quality initiatives by identifying, analyzing, and reporting data discrepancies.
  • Produce testing metrics, defect reports, and data quality dashboards.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A target of 5 years of experience in Data Management, Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, or related roles is preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Must have experience using Playwright and previous working experience with this tool.
  • Good understanding of SQL and how to write queries, including joining tables.
  • Experience using GitHub or other version control platforms.

General Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and data flows.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Commercial Banking or Financial Services.
  • A background in Collateral or UCC.
  • Knowledge of Collateral Management, Collateral Perfection, UCC filings, and lien position concepts.
  • Experience with data quality controls, reconciliation processes, and exception management.
  • Experience with database testing and validation using SQL.
  • Experience with API testing and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
