Position: St. Petersburg-Janitor and Cleaner

Location: Marshal's Office Second District Court of Appeal 525 Mirror Lake Drive North St. Petersburg, FL  33701

Duration: 1+ Months

  • DRESS CODE:  Casual, but no inappropriate attire pursuant to our court dress code.

 

WORK ENVIRONENT:  

  • 3 story building, 55 sq feet building.  Required to clean the 1st floor lobby, courtroom, judicial suites, break rooms, kitchen, housekeeping/storage and maintenance rooms.  (DEEP CLEANING REQUIRED FOR AT LEAST THE 1st WEEK).

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Deep cleaning of building
  • 1st floor window cleaning

REQUIRE EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Minimum 1 yr experience as a custodial or maintenance worker
  • Knowledge of cleaning products to clean and treat different types of surfaces
  • Ability to use a housekeeping cart, mop, broom, vacuum, standard cleaning equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in custodial or maintenance work may substitute for education requirement
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A LEVEL 2 BACKGROUND CHECK
