Pay Rate: $ 36.00-45.00/hour*
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of customer equipment as assigned. This position is trained in at least two skill sets, maintains a high level of productivity, must have three of the four CFESA certifications and is assigned to the on-call roster. This position demonstrates leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and train other employees.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Adhere to all SAFETY policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
  3. Utilize tablet to document task (parts order, work order, timesheet) on a timely basis.
  4. Communicate professionally with customer regarding required repairs and status.
  5. Use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools.
  6. Monitor truck stock to insure required parts are stocked on vehicle.
  7. Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms.
  8. Work independently with daily supervision.
  9. Participate as scheduled for weekend/holiday on-call rotation and work regular overtime as needed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Obtain correct part numbers through branch parts person.
  2. Collect payment on COD jobs.
  3. Contribute positively to branch targets for response time and first time fix rates.
  4. Participates in available training to increase skill and knowledge.
  5. Performs other duties as required.
CONTACTS:
  • Internal- Daily with branch staff; occasionally with corporate staff.
  • External- Frequent and regular contact with customers. Occasional contact with factories for warranty purposes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
  • Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
  • 1 Year of applicable experience.
  • CFESA Master Technician with three of the four CFESA certifications.
