Join a travel Physical Therapist assignment in Chatham, MA at an outpatient rehabilitation center where you will help adult and pediatric patients recover from injury and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life on Cape Cod. Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required prior to start.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Experience evaluating and treating adult and pediatric outpatient populations, including establishment of objective measurable treatment goals and documented treatment plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests and to modify treatment plans based on patient progress.
  • Experience providing patient/family education and communicating with interdisciplinary teams regarding progress and discharge planning.
  • Ability to provide guidance to PT Assistants, aides, and students and to participate in department quality improvement and safety initiatives.
  • Ability to maintain documentation of patient activity, charges, and objective clinical records.
  • Preferred: Specialist certification and prior experience serving as a clinical resource in a focused specialty area. This is preferred, not required.
Assignment Details
  • Facility type: Outpatient rehabilitation center.
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 07:00-16:00 (5x8).
  • Standard hours per week: 40.
  • Assignment duration: 13 weeks.
  • Patient population: Adult and pediatric outpatient caseload.
