This role is designed to engage current students who are passionate about their college experience and eager to share it with prospective students, parents, and the community. As a Student Ambassador, you will represent Coconino Community College at various events, provide campus tours, and assist with campus engagement.
This is a part-time, 10-15 hours/week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Student Life Events: Represent Student Life at on-campus events through the planning, preparation, set-up, execution, and clean-up of our Student Life signature events.
  • Support Student Services: Collaborate with Student Services departments to help execute their programs and events. Be present as additional support as needed.
  • Event Participation: Represent the college at recruitment events, open houses, college fairs, community events, and other CCC events.
  • Outreach: Assist with outreach activities by providing information about the college's programs, admissions process, and student services.
  • Marketing Support: Contribute to social media campaigns, student testimonials, and other marketing materials to promote the college.
  • Student Life Area Oversight: Assist with the organization, management, and cleaning of on-campus areas overseen by Student Life.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative tasks related to recruitment and admissions, such as data entry, preparing information packets, and responding to inquiries.
  • Peer Mentoring: Offer guidance and support to prospective and new students, sharing personal experiences and helping them navigate the transition to college life.

Physical Demands

Work Environment
Primary work environment is on the Coconino Community College Lone Tree campus, both indoors and outdoors. Frequent movement between various buildings and facilities, including classrooms, administrative offices, and student centers. Exposure to varying weather conditions, such as heat, cold, rain, and snow, with appropriate accommodation and attire. Traveling to different locations within the community and potentially to other regions for recruitment purposes.
Part-time employees working 20 hours or more per week for at least 20 weeks within the fiscal year (July 1-June 30) are eligible to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System and receive tuition waiver benefits.
