We are looking for amazing Professional Armed Security Officers to join our team and we want to get to know YOU!

Our Armed Security Officers play a vital role by actively observing their surroundings, positively engaging with customers and associates, and responding to emergency situations.
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour/depending on experience.
Anticipated schedule: Sunday through Thursday from 11:30pm to 7:30am
Required Duties:
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot.
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
  • Call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles.
  • Monitor entrances and exits and permit authorized persons to enter property.
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property.
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
Essential Job Functions:
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Duties may include sitting and standing or walking in inclement weather conditions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift items not to exceed 20 pounds.
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
  • One year experience in retail, customer service and/or hospitality required.
  • Five years experience in security preferred.
Competencies:
  • Demonstrates proficiency in sound decision making and defensive tactics.
  • Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
  • Attention to detail.
Required Certifications:
  • Posses a VALID BSIS Guard Card.
  • Posses a VALID BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit.
  • California Baton Permit recommended.
  • Taser Permit recommended.
  • O/C Spray Permit recommended.
Other Misc. Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check.
  • Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene.
  • Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
  • Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled with reliable transportation.
  • Valid California Driver's License or State issued ID Card.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
