Job description

Department: Marketing

Supervisor: Director, Promotions

Classification: Part-time

Summary/Objective:

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are seeking highly motivated and energetic individuals to join the Bacon Brigade during the 2026 season. The Bacon Brigade is the IronPigs part-time, seasonal Entertainment and Dance Crew and is a fan-interactive, energetic team that works IronPigs home games at Coca-Cola Park, as well as select outside appearances. They are responsible for the implementation of guest interaction, in-game sponsorship activation, in-game entertainment, and being an overall ambassador for the IronPigs brand. They display a friendly, enthusiastic, positive, energetic, professional, and outgoing attitude to IronPigs fans at games and off-site appearances. This position pays $45/game.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Willingness to be funny, silly, goofy in front of large crowds of people
  • Assist and execute in-game promotions with the emcee and mascots
  • Assist with game day activities including but not limited to greeting guests, helping select contestants for in-game contests, helping with pregame ceremonies, and interacting with the crowd.
  • Can learn and remember easily choreographed dances
  • Escorting FeRROUS, FeFe, and the Pork Racers throughout Coca-Cola Park.
  • Maintain the promotional room, which includes keeping props and costumes organized
  • Responsible for the activation of sponsored elements, which includes taking prizes to specific seat locations, interacting with guests, and answering general questions
  • Perform "tosses" throughout the stadium seating bowl to pump up the crowd
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Must be reliable and able to arrive at Coca-Cola Park at least 30 minutes prior to gates opening.
  • Outgoing, fun personality that is comfortable interacting with large crowds
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Must always display professionalism, as you are a brand ambassador for the entire IronPigs organization.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have strong communication skills

Physical Requirements of the Job:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks: bend, squat, kneel, twist, run short distances, dance, climb up/down flights of stairs, walk on uneven ground.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.

Work Environment:

Majority of time will be spent outdoors. Job may require employee to function in a in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue/environment. Employee may also be exposed to weather of varying degrees for extended periods of time while performing the duties of this job.
