Portland, Maine: We invite an experienced physician leader to serve as Hospitalist Medical Director for the established inpatient program within a modern 70-bed medical center part of Maines second-largest health system. Physicians trained in family medicine or internal medicine are encouraged to apply. Candidates who hold an advanced degree (MPH, MBA, MHA) will receive priority attention. You will shape workflow, strengthen quality initiatives, and contribute to the continued growth of the program. Clinically, you will provide care to a manageable inpatient census averaging 12 patients/day, with strong APP support in a collaborative, mission-centered environment. Procedures are optional. You will have your own office space a rare and desirable benefit in hospital medicine.
