Job description

TMCO is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a 3rd Shift Powder Coating Team Lead. This role is responsible for leading nightly operations while ensuring quality, safety, and production goals are met.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous manufacturing or powder coating experience required; leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a warm environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to lead a team and communicate clearly
  • Ability to follow and enforce verbal and written instructions
  • Dependable with strong problem-solving skills

 

Job Duties:
 Lead and support all aspects of a busy powder coating operation on 3rd shift, including but not limited to:

  • Oversee nightly production and ensure schedules and goals are met
  • Lead, train, and support team members on shift
  • Apply powder coating to parts as needed
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of parts on the line
  • Monitor part preparation and coating quality
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Troubleshoot issues and communicate with management as needed
  • Assist with packaging and basic assembly when required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures
