Overview We are seeking a dedicated Conformal Coating Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective conformal coatings to electronic circuit boards and components, ensuring durability and performance in various environmental conditions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing processes, and a keen eye for precision. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and supporting efficient production workflows in a fast-paced industrial environment. Responsibilities Operate conformal coating equipment, including airless paint sprayers and automated dispensing systems, to apply coatings uniformly on electronic assemblies. Prepare surfaces by cleaning and masking components using hand tools, masking tapes, and other materials handling techniques. Set up and calibrate machinery using precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate coating thickness and coverage. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols related to industrial painting and materials handling. Conduct quality inspections of coated products using measurement tools and visual assessments to verify coating integrity. Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as power tools, spray systems, and fabrication tools to ensure optimal operation. Assist in troubleshooting coating application issues by analyzing process parameters and making adjustments as needed. Support warehouse operations by managing inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment required for conformal coating tasks. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste during production processes.
