What You'll Do:

  • Assure surfaces meet required blast profiles
  • Mix paints/coating per specifications
  • Operate conventional and airless spray equipment to apply primers, intermediate and final coating in alkyds, epoxies and water borne paint systems
  • Test millage of coatings (wet and dry)
  • Oil and clean pumps
  • Clean paint lines and guns and perform other cleaning/preventative maintenance to ensure that painting apparatus remain in working order
  • Consistently achieves proper dry film thickness and defect-free paint jobs with no holidays, pinholes, sags, runs or orange peel
  • Other job duties as assigned
