Job description

We are currently looking for Lamination Coating Machine Helper to work the following shift:

  • 2nd Shift - 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, M-F

A Lamination / Coating Machine Helper is responsible for assisting the Machine Operator(s) to safely and effectively meet the daily production goals of the solvent base and solventless laminators and/or coating machines with high quality. The Lamination / Coater Helper works under the direct guidance of the Machine Operator(s) and the general guidance of the Production Supervisor and/or the Manager of Plant Operations.

Required:

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age and pass our pre-employment Reading and Ruler tests.
  2. 2+ years mechanical experience (personal or professional) such as machine set-up, vehicle repair, etc. and/or experience with similar machinery (Lamination, Coating, Slitting, Press) is required.
  3. Ability to measure and interpret measurements up to 1/16th of a inch using a ruler or tape measure. Previous Forklift experience is a plus.
  4. Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs;
  5. Must be able to push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis. Must be able to lift, walk, sit, stand, pull, stretch, reach, squat, bend, crouch, and kneel throughout entire shift without accommodations.
  6. Must be able to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors.
