Work Environment

This position is designed for a full-time clinician who will operate primarily in a remote environment, with occasional visits to our outpatient office in Chula Vista. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible schedule. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to enhance the delivery of mental health services, ensuring the best care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly as a clinician with clients presenting various mental health challenges, including major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, both in-office and within the community.

  • Engage proactively as a collaborative team member to achieve shared team goals, focusing on mutual support and collaboration.

  • Demonstrate respect and effective communication with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, adapting to varied cultural traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles.

  • Adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards set forth by Coastline Health System, ensuring integrity in all professional behaviors.

  • Utilize evidence-based methodologies to conduct brief screenings and detailed assessments, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed to develop comprehensive care plans.

  • Maintain an organized caseload, performing individual, group, and family therapy while ensuring accessibility to various treatment services focusing on the clients' needs.

  • Monitor client progress closely, handling admissions, ongoing treatment assessments, and discharge evaluations to provide timely and appropriate care transitions.

  • Participate in on-call duties as needed, providing crisis intervention support and ensuring client safety and well-being.

  • Engage in continuous professional development, contributing to committee work aimed at improving service delivery and overall quality of care.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will serve a diverse clientele, primarily those facing economic and social challenges. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to maintain clear documentation and foster productive client interactions.

Preferred Experience
