My client is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating, budgeting, and client-facing preconstruction efforts for a growing commercial construction organization in the Raleigh market. This is a strategic role for a professional who excels at building client relationships, presenting solutions, and helping secure new business opportunities. Client Details Our client is a long-standing and highly respected builder and developer with deep roots throughout the Triangle region. With decades of successful project delivery, repeat clients, and a diverse portfolio across multiple market sectors, they have established themselves as a premier construction organization known for quality and integrity. Description Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Analyze project documents, such as blueprints and specifications, to determine project scope and requirements. Collaborate with project managers and teams to develop accurate and competitive proposals. Maintain updated cost databases and pricing information for accurate forecasting. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure alignment with project needs and budgets. Provide input and recommendations to enhance project profitability and efficiency. Track and report project costs to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines. Participate in pre-construction meetings to discuss project details and address any concerns.
