My client is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating, budgeting, and client-facing preconstruction efforts for a growing commercial construction organization in the Raleigh market. Description Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Analyze project documents, such as blueprints and specifications, to determine project scope and requirements. Collaborate with project managers and teams to develop accurate and competitive proposals. Maintain updated cost databases and pricing information for accurate forecasting. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure alignment with project needs and budgets. Provide input and recommendations to enhance project profitability and efficiency. Track and report project costs to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines. Participate in pre-construction meetings to discuss project details and address any concerns.
