What types of projects or repairs does a Coast Guard Welder typically handle?

Coast Guard Welders are responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating metal components on ships, boats, and support facilities. Projects can include hull repairs, fabrication of custom brackets or fixtures, pipe welding, and emergency fixes to keep vessels seaworthy.
