Job Description
JENNMAR Services is currently seeking Experienced and Inexperienced Underground Coal Miners. These are full-time positions with competitive salaries and benefits available.

Job Responsibilities for Miners:

  • General Labor
  • Roller and screen changes
  • Belt work
  • Steel sets
  • Overcasts
  • Jacks
  • Seal preparation
  • Pumpable cribs
  • Scoop operating
  • Bolting
  • Other laborer duties as required

Job Requirements for Miners:

  • Underground AL Experienced Miner or Apprentice Miner Certification in the state of AL Required.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays required.
  • Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required
  • Distinct aptitudes to perform job duties with care, commitment, passion, and pride;
  • Dependability to be consistently at work and on time with ability to work 40+ swing shift schedule as needed that may include working at different mine locations;
  • Ability to utilize different task training and to work on weekends as required
  • Team member mentality with ability to follow all safety regulations that includes wearing required Personal Protective Equipment;
  • Lift and carry capability up to 50 lbs;
  • Bend and twist carry capability of 40+ lbs;
  • Equipment/material carry capability including up/down stairs;
  • Multiple-limb coordination, near/far vision, manual dexterity, climbing capability, long-distance walking capability.
