We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join the team at Maple Lawn Senior Care, in Fulda, MN! Maple Lawn Senior Care is in a rural environment that offers a calmer atmosphere and less stress, allowing you more opportunities to build a full caseload quickly.
We offer a competitive wage, benefits, and up to a $5,000 bonus paid out over 18 months or tuition reimbursement. New grads are welcome to apply!
Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position with a flexible start and end time
Wage Range: $26 - $34 / hour depending on experience.
Bonus: $5,000
Location: 400 NE 7th St Fulda, MN 56131
Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
  • Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care.
Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and have at a minimum an Associate's degree.
  • Must possess a current MN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
  • Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
  • Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
  • Proficient in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
