Retail Store Manager

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers –Douglas, GA

Full-time

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is currently seeking a hard-working and dedicated Retail Store Manager to support and manage our LaGrange Retail Store.

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.’s Store Manager Responsibilities:

  • Guide, support, and coach retail team members on customer service, engagement, processing, and warehouse efficiency
  • Generate labor schedules and delegate assignments
  • Manage store operations regarding recruiting, hiring, training, and team development; complete and submit all related documentation
  • Analyze reports and base decisions on those results
  • Develop action plans to support continuous improvement in key areas, including production, customer service, sales, safety, and logistics.
  • Prioritize safety for team members, customers, and donors by ensuring all work areas are free of clutter and all GoodwillSR safety procedures are followed.
  • Input daily donations, production counts, and salvage inventory
  • Manage maintenance and supplies for the Retail Store and associated Attended Donation Centers
  • Integrate GoodwillSR's Mission and values in all daily activities
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the District Manager

Work Environment:

This job operates in a retail/warehouse environment. Team members may be subject to indoor and outdoor conditions, dust, dirt, and other allergens, noise, heat, and cold temperatures.

Requirements:

  • Level of knowledge typically gained through completion of an associate's degree
  • 3 years managing a retail operation and leading a team
