We are seeking talented, customer focused associates to join us for the 2025 season.
Title: Customer Service Associate
Reports To: Operations Manager or GM
Department: Operations
Summary: The primary objective of the Customer Service Associate is to greet and inform visitors of the area, sell retail goods, and collect recreation use fees. The Attendant will maintain the order, cleanliness, and cash control of the assigned area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serves customers in a friendly, courteous manner and sets a good example for visitors and fellow employees.
  • General knowledge of rates, rules and regulations, operating hours of the store, the main office and any special events or activities.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of the property's concierge services, if available.
  • May assist with activity programs for children and adults, providing entertaining and educations programs to enhance experiences.
  • Understands safety rules and emergency procedures and how to implement them when needed; understands accident prevention.
  • Operates a fee collection station or other concession outlet, greets visitors, and is knowledgeable and able to answer visitor questions.
  • Collects recreation use fees, maintains the order and security of the area, helps control parking, boat ramp areas, and picnic areas, where applicable.
  • Maintains administrative logs, receipts, cash register tapes, and visitor use data and revenue information.
  • May plan and schedule shifts.
  • Performs routine maintenance duties, which include manual labor consisting of cleaning facilities and keeping the assigned area free of litter.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (21 to drive) and have access to reliable transportation.
  • Possesses good communications skills, a courteous demeanor, and a helpful attitude.
  • Familiar (or willingness to become familiar) with all company and partnering agency policies and guidelines regarding permitted areas.
  • Available for duty during weekends, holidays, and peak visitation periods. Weekly work schedules will be worked out with local management.
  • Strong customer service skills; enjoys working in an environment of extensive public contact.
