Location: Phoenix, AZ | Latham St
Job Type: Full Time | Non-Exemptย 
Shift: Monday-Friday | 5:00am - 1:30pm

You're excited to build a well-rounded skill set in cannabis cultivation and eager to learn every aspect of the garden. With training and guidance, you'll gain hands-on experience across the entire production cycle, including plant care, environmental monitoring, harvesting, and more. You bring curiosity, reliability, and a team-focused mindset, making you a key part of a cultivation operation that thrives on shared knowledge and cross-training.ย 

What You'll Do:ย 

As a Cultivation Associate at Curaleaf, you'll be cross-trained to support the full plant life cycle, from clone to harvest, helping to grow premium cannabis while maintaining top-quality standards. Your day-to-day will include:ย 

  • Performing daily plant care such as cutting, rooting, transplanting, watering, feeding, trimming, staking, and pruning to keep plants healthyย 
  • Tracking humidity, moisture, and temperature to maintain ideal growing conditions and meet quality goalsย 
  • Inspecting plants for leaf health, bloom size, pests, or disease and removing any that don't meet standardsย 
  • Assisting with harvest by cutting plants, trimming, removing flowering tops, weighing products, and recording inventory in the electronic tracking systemย 
  • Supporting the curing process by hanging and dry-racking flowers, monitoring climate conditions, labeling and weighing products, and entering inventory dataย 
  • Operating and maintaining lighting, irrigation, and climate-control systems while stocking supplies and keeping all cultivation areas and tools clean and sanitizedย 
  • Pitching in during high-demand periods to help prepare and package products, including premium extraction itemsย 
  • Following state regulations and security procedures by accurately labeling plants and entering inventory informationย 

What You'll Bring:ย 

  • You have a natural green thumb and a genuine passion for working with plants, with experience harvesting in a professional or home setting (gardening counts!)ย 
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, team environment, collaborating with others while fostering a positive and professional atmosphereย 
  • You bring sharp attention to detail, ensuring quality and consistency in every taskย 
  • You are reliable and detail-oriented, with strong documentation, inventory, and organizational skills that help you stay on top of a tight scheduleย

  • You have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalentย 

Even Better If:ย 

  • You bring knowledge of growing technologies such as lighting, irrigation, soil, and nutrients, along with hands-on experience in landscaping, horticulture, or agricultureย 
  • You understand different cannabis strains and their unique growing needsย 

Physical Requirementsย 

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift)ย 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasional lifting of heavier items with assistanceย 
  • Frequent and repetitive use of hands and wrists for extended periods of timeย 
  • Repetitive bending, squatting, and reachingย 
  • Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access plants or equipmentย 
  • Ability to use required PPE when required, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessaryย 

Environmental Conditionsย 

  • Exposure to environments with high humidity, varying temperatures, and strong odors (such as cannabis)ย 
  • Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen and plant pathogensย 
  • Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcoholย 
  • Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarmsย
