North Central Co-op invites applications for the position of Part-time Stock Clerk to join our team at our Home Centreย located in Stony Plain, Alberta. Open availability is an asset.

What you'll do:

  • Stock, organize and complete merchandise displays according to standards and policies
  • Assist with inventory verifications and assembly of products for displayย 
  • Utilize product and service knowledge to support customers in identifying, locating and purchasing required items
  • Initiate positive interactions with customers, develop trust and loyalty with North Central Co-op
  • Receive products and open freight as needed
  • Support in other departments and with other duties, contribute to a team environment

Who you are:ย 

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • Previous work experience in a Home Centre retail location or building materials industry would be an asset
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
  • You have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
