Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Peralte-Clark is seeking an undergraduate Co-Op student who will have completed their sophomore year by the summer of 2026 and have at least 3 remaining semesters of coursework looking for an opportunity to gain practical experience and broad exposure to the Civil Engineering industry. The Co-op student will alternate semesters between working fulltime and going to school fulltime. Eligible candidates will be able to start the work semester of the Co-op the Summer semester of 2026 or the Spring semester of 2027. If you are team-oriented, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and appreciate a goal-oriented management style set to leverage and expand your diverse set of skills, Peralte-Clark is the place for you.
Under close supervision, you will perform entry-level duties of moderate difficulty, providing you with the chance to train in various departments throughout our company. You will gather and organize data for departmental special projects or reports, assist professional-level employees on assignments, and perform other related duties as assigned. This role offers you the opportunity to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for successful performance. You will utilize current company-wide and/or department-specific software to complete assignments, with specific activities varying by assignment.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • SKILL: Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.

  • SUPERVISION: Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Works under close supervision.
  • EXPERIENCE: Requires completion of 2 years of undergraduate level coursework.
  • START DATE: Co-op students will start either at the beginning of Spring 2027 and commit to a minimum of three semesters.
